David Evan Monroe

Deacon

I have served on the board for seven years, three of those years as Board Chair.

I was born in Vulcan, living on our family farm three miles west of Arcaldi, started by my grandfather, where Tracy and I still reside today.

Tracy and I were married in 1981 and have been blessed with three wonderful children and eight precious grandchildren.

I grew up attending church, but in 1980, after attending a retreat, I became a Christian. Since 2014, the Church of Christ has been our church home. It has been our honor to serve on the church board.

God has been faithful to me through the years, and giving back to Him through service and kingdom growth is a way I can thank Him and show my love and gratitude for His many blessings. It is my desire for others to know Him and recognize His faithfulness in their lives as well.

When I had my accident in 1975, I did not know how my life would look, but God did. He had a plan for me that was better than I could have ever imagined.

I would like to encourage everyone to know that God loves us, that He walks with us through all our valleys, but also leads us on the mountaintops. He teaches us through this journey, and we grow closer to Him.

Remember His faithfulness in your life and that nothing is too big for Him. He truly is an awesome God, and I thank Him every day for all His amazing gifts.
