Richard William DeBolt
Elder and Chair of the Board
I have attended the Church of Christ for four and a half years. I have been a Christian for thirty-five years. I am living the transformative change in the Holy Spirit, and my goal is to become the man GOD wants me to be. It has been my pleasure to serve the church as the board chairman for the last year and a half. It has also been a joy to work with the other board members, as we are all working to glorify GOD in our service to our church.
It is incredible to see the church turning one hundred years old, while churches are in decline all around our nation. We have endured—praise the LORD for His faithfulness. I have a lot of favorite verses, but the one that always jumps out at me is John 3:16: “For GOD so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
My wife, Georgia-Lee, and I really enjoy our fellowship with our brothers and sisters in CHRIST. It is truly our church home. There are so many people who laid down the path to get this church from day one to one hundred years later—what a blessing for all of us.
